How To Make a Copy of a Question

Customizing Questions in An Existing Assessment

Go to the course home page.

Click on the gear icon next to the assessment you want to modify.

Select "Questions." This will take you to the Add/Remove Questions page.

In the Add/Remove Questions page, you can do a variety of things:

    • Edit the points allotted both at the question level as well as the default point value
    • Change an individual question settings
    • View the question code
    • Edit a copy of a question from the OHM library
    • You can template a question - this means to leave the existing question in the assessment and in addition create a personal copy of the question for you to edit
    • Remove questions from the assessment
    • Search for questions to add to the assessment
    • Author a new question to add to the assessment

Copying Questions in An Existing Assessment

If  you would like multiple copies of a question in an assessment, you can do the following:


1. Click on the gear next to any assessment and choose Questions

2. For the question you want to duplicate click the three dots under Actions and choose Change Settings

3. For Number, if any, of additional copies to add to assessment:, enter the number of question copies you wish to add (see below)

4. Click Save Settings
