If an institution has LTI 1.1 in place for D2L/Brightspace, here are the instructions on moving to LTI 1.3 for Lumen OHM.
Lumen OHM 1.1 migrating to 1.3 for D2L
If an institution has 1.1 in place they will need to follow these instructions to allow 1.3 for Lumen OHM.
Delete LTI 1.1
- Select the gear icon<External Learning Tools<Manage Tool Providers
- Delete the Tool ohm.lumenlearning.com
- Create new course (DO NOT IMPORT)
Add Lumen OHM as an LTI 1.3 tool provider
- Add 1.3
- Manage Extensibility>LTI Advantage>Register a Tool
- Select Standard
- Enter these values:
- Domain: https://ohm.lumenlearning.com
- Redirect URLs: https://ohm.lumenlearning.com/lti/launch.php
- OpenID Connect Login URL: https://ohm.lumenlearning.com/lti/login.php? u=62d72896acd86
- Keyset URL: https://ohm.lumenlearning.com/lti/jwks.php
- Enable the Extensions: Assignment and Grade Services and Deep Linking
Once tool is registered, Brightspace will auto-populate Registration Details; example:
Send this information to Lumen Support who will need to enter this information into the OHM platform here: https://ohm.lumenlearning.com/lti/admin/platforms.php
Add the course to the LTI 1.3 Org Unit within the Deployments link

- Select New Deployment
- Add specific org unit (All des. or All des. and whole org/based on D2L admin)

Your LTI 1.3 connection to Lumen OHM should now be setup. Next, we ask that you perform a short guided test to check that the integration was completed successfully, and confirm that OHM courses will work correctly within your institution’s LMS.
