Testing the LTI Integration to Lumen One Platform LTI 1.3
Your LTI 1.3 connection to Lumen One Platform should now be set up. Next, we ask that you perform a short guided test to check that the integration was completed successfully, and confirm that Lumen One Platform courses will work correctly within your institution’s LMS.
To perform this test you'll need to add deep links into a test course in your LMS. Create your test course with the following information:
- Course Offering Name: Admin Config Test Lumen One
- Course Offering Code: Admin Config Test Lumen One
Note: This test course shell cannot be reused by instructors. Please do not delete the Lumen One links within this test course and provide this same shell to an instructor.
To Add Lumen One Platform LTI 1.3 Links into the Test Course
- Navigate to your test course
- Click Content
- Click Add a module …, enter Lumen One Platform Course Materials as the module name
- Click Existing Activities from the newly added module
- Select Lumen One Platform LTI 1.3 from the drop down menu
- From the Add a course picker, select the Introductory Statistics course.
Note: If instead of the selected page you see an error message “Error - Account not configured correctly” - verify that the Test Course is associated to an Org Unit to which the Tool Provider was deployed, or return to the Deployment step and add the test course as an additional deployment location.
- From the Preview page, ensure that the Select All box is ticked and click Add Course.
- Wait for links to be added to the LMS course
Testing the Links
The test content should now have been added into your course and will appear in the Content area under the Tables of Contents > Lumen Content Module
