Importing and Setting Up Your Lumen One Course in Brightspace

Setting Up Lumen One Modules

Discussions
In this quick video, we show you how to set up your Lumen One discussions in Brightspace by providing a brief overview of the process. You can find the content for discussions in your Lumen One course in the Faculty Engagement Center. We guide you through accessing the discussions and assignments, opening the Google Docs, and setting up a forum and topic.
Assignments
In this video, we will show you how to add assignments to your Lumen Onr course in Brightspace D2L. You will learn how to find assignment content in the Lumen Faculty Engagement Center, open the Google Doc with the assignment details, copy and paste the assignment title and description, customize the assignment settings, add a rubric if needed, set up a grade, and finally, add the assignment to your content area.

Upgrading to Lumen One From Waymaker
Are you are faculty member who uses Waymaker and are interested in upgrading to Lumen One? You do not have to start from scratch, and we are here to make this process is easy and help you set you your course.
When you upgrade to Lumen One, you can copy and re-use your Waymaker Modules, Assignments, Discussions and other content into a new Brightspace course shell and then import Lumen One content and move it into your existing module structure.
